North Pier is pleased to announce that Cathleen Rittereiser has joined the firm as Senior Consultant. Based in the New York Metropolitan area, Cathleen brings unparalleled experience and expertise to her role advising fiduciaries with Outsourced CIO (OCIO) and investment consultant evaluation and search projects.
A leading authority on the Endowment Investment Model and OCIO, Cathleen honed her expertise and rose to industry thought leadership as the co-author of the books Foundation and Endowment Investing and Top Hedge Fund Investors, former Executive Director of the Commonfund Institute, and founder of Uncorrelated investment forums.

Prior to joining North Pier, Cathleen advised and educated trustees and investment committee members and led trade association conference sessions on endowment management best practices for the Commonfund Institute. At Uncorrelated, Cathleen held educational forums and published white papers for endowment, foundation, and pension investment officers.
Cathleen has educated nonprofit fiduciaries on the endowment model, governance, and alternatives as a speaker at numerous industry conferences, including AGB, NACUBO, Council on Foundations, NBOA, SALT, Global ARC, AIMA, CAIA, JFNA, Institutional Investor, and The Investment Institute. She received an A.B. from Franklin & Marshall College and M.B.A. from NYU.
